Selling highly technical software to a specialized industry is quite the challenge, and our sales team meets that challenge with swords drawn. Their task is to get the software into the hands of the people who need it and they relish the opportunity to introduce our products to new users.
At CEI, our quest for customer happiness translates into quality customer relationships for our sales team. Not to fill a quota or score a commission (because we don’t have either of those), but because getting to know our customers is the best way to make sure they get what they need. Conversations at trade shows and committee meetings combine with calls, chats, and emails to form lasting partnerships.
The ideal addition to our team will be excited about sales, proactive about marketing, and innovative with techniques for both. You need to be organized and motivated to follow through on leads without prodding (though the ever-present threat of merciless mocking is over your head). Experience with the engineering and welding industry is a plus, but we might be willing to take a chance on a less nerdy individual who is awesome in all other respects.
