Source code, not dress code

At CEI we work in project-based teams that are responsible for setting and reaching their goals without micromanagement. We thrive on the unique contributions from each member of the team and strive to encourage each individual to build and own their space.

You will be much more than a cog in a machine at CEI. Because we are a small company dealing with a highly specialized industry, your effect on decisions will have the potential to shape the market.

Open Positions

These are the positions we're actively looking to fill. If there's nothing that suits you but you feel you would be a good fit for CEI, please submit your resume through one of the departments below.

Software Development

Jun 19, 2014, 21:23 PM

We design software for a specialized industry in a global market. Our content must be constantly updated based on industry code standards, so the underlying source code must be solid. Communication and a strong work ethic are key.

We’re not looking for a laundry list of programming languages, degrees, or achievements. We need you to be intrinsically motivated to do. it. right. Passionate devotion to craftsmanship in source code, a test-infected ideology, and a refusal to let ego get in the way of progress are necessary traits in a CEI developer.

Our ideal team member is a self-motivated learner, always looking to grow and improve as a programmer and as a human being. Experience with TDD, FIT/FitNesse, and Delphi are preferable. And at some point we will be asking you for code samples.

If you’re reading this with a scowl on your face, we’re probably not the place for you. But if you said “yes! exactly!” a number of times while reading the above paragraphs, send us an email at and let’s have a conversation.
